Delete your Sabq account

You can delete your Sabq account and your data at any time. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Sabq app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account & settings → Privacy & data → Delete account.
  3. Type “DELETE” to confirm. Your account is deleted right away.

Before you delete, you can download a copy of your data: Privacy & data → Export my data.

Without the app

Email support@sabqsteps.com with the subject “Delete account”, and include the phone number on your account and your username. We’ll confirm the account is yours, delete it within 30 days, and let you know when it’s done.

What we delete

Your profile and photos, your onboarding answers, your steps and activity, your walks and routes, your friends and friend requests, your posts, comments and reactions, your chat messages, photos and voice messages (your messages show as deleted in other people’s chats), and your devices and notification tokens.

What we keep

  • An administrative record that the account was deleted and when, with no health data, for as long as the law requires.
  • Reports about harmful content, with a copy of the reported content, to protect users.
  • Challenges you created continue for their other members, without your name.
  • Copies of deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which they’re erased automatically.
